Sets usually range from 45-90 minutes of traditional and original songs that feature mainly material from Newpoli’s new CD "Nun te vutà", beartones 2015, as well as material from their upcoming CD, due to be released in May 2018.
A large part of Newpoli’s set is dance music: they perform several traditional dances such as the passionate pizzica, a wild dance from Puglia and tammuriata, a couples dance from Campania as well as tarantellas from the various regions of the south of Italy.
The music is passionate and full of influences from the Middle East, Greece, Spain and North Africa. The two singers always dance on stage and gets the audience going, stepping to the heart beat of the tamburello (the italian tambourine).
The group also mixes in beautiful love songs and work songs to change the tempo of the concerts.
Newpoli’s live concerts are passionate, full of rhythm and dance and will take the audience to Italy and back passing through decades of music tradition and take a dip in the cultural melting pot that is the south of Italy.
